Small, cozy place. We went on a Sunday morning for brunch and had to wait about five minutes for a table. The coffee was great. The food was hot and delicious! Pictured is the Taco Omelet. Great place to visit.

A great place to eat for Breakfast and Lunch. I enjoy the gyro omelette very much as well as the hash browns and look and feel of the cafe. It is small but it is worth waiting for a seat if they are packed.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way back to the cities and it far our (already high) expectations. The food was amazing—everything's super cheap and the portion sizes are massive. Also, the service was awesome!

Hands down, the best place for breakfast in Duluth. Uncle Loui's Cafe has it all: awesome friendly and fast service, delicious food (hashbrowns and french toast are amazing!), good-sized menu with a lot of options, and big portions at great prices. It's one of those staple places that has your classic diner breakfast/brunch food. Get there early on the weekends though! There tends to be huge crowds with lines going out the building. Highly recommend!

Really good food. It was as good as the best breakfast place I have been to. This place has been around since 1993. Looks a bit sketchy from outside at a first glance but a long wait line soon tells you otherwise. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Love this place! Always busy, good food, you will not go away hungry. No frills, just down to earth good food, nice people serving and making your food.

Arrived at noon, waited in line outside for about 10-15 min... Definitely worth the wait! Amazing staff, they all made sure our drinks were filled, and all had great attitudes Food: “Tailgate” special - eggs, sausage, hash browns, and a pancake... PERFECT! Love the environment. I love that it's been around forever. I've only been there a handful of times but Everytime I go there it makes me wanna go now often. The service was wonderful, I did receive service from one worker who might have had a long morning and it kinda showed. I was still helped quickly and precisely, I just received more friendliness from others. If you are wondering if this little nook is where you should be eating Breakfast... The answer is yes yes yes, YES!

Okay—if you enjoy Gyros—you need to try their Gyros scrambler❤️ And their homemade gyros sauce is by far one of the best I have tried, and I try a lot of them!Their French toast is the most unique French toast I have ever seen or tried! Wonderful fluffy texture and sweet flavor, that’s not overly sweet!Service was warm and friendly, and quick!

Amazing food. Honestly probably the best pancakes I've ever had! Super affordable prices with good size portions. Little hole in the wall that's super good. Limited seating but wait times usually aren't too long. Popular place! Highly recommend

First, in all fairness, the bisquits and gravy is phenomenal...My pancakes and bacon was second rate. The bacon (good portion) was obviously baked in the convection oven, curly, and never grilled. Had the texture and color of roast pork. The pancake had too much egg in the bater, dry, bland, and had a unknown spice taste.The meatloaf sandwich was fried, but the mashed potatoes were excellent..Service was excellent and tipped accordingly. Would have been less if based on food.

Great Greek cuisine but you have to go early to get a table. They are popular and fill up quickly for breakfast and lunch.

Fast and efficient service. Tasty home style diner. It’s smells super clean. A little too much like cleaner, but we will still be back. Especially for the french toast.

Ive been here a couple times now for breakfast. Food and service are very good. They do a great job of keeping your coffee and water topped off. Just a good classic diner atmosphere.

Uncle Loui's is always my go to place for breakfast in Duluth, and actually my favorite breakfast place period. I've gone there probably around 5 times now and always get the Biscuits and Gravy. It brings a smile on my face every time they set that plate of deliciousness down in front of me.

Great breakfast at a reasonable price. Everything was perfect, crispy hashbrowns, a nice char on the sausage and a fluffy pancake with a hint of sweetness. And a good cup of coffee to wash it down. The staff and cooks were A+.

They say they try for the best breakfast in Duluth, and I've had no rivals to date! All fresh, fast and wonderful. Scratch made classics, large portions. The even make their own syrups! Blueberry, cinnamon, and the regular maple... Try the cinnamon on the bacon, its money!

The place was packed on Sunday. Get there early if you can, if not know that the wait is well worth it. Table turnover is quick but people are not rushed out by any means. Worth a visit for breakfast when stopping in Duluth.

Really good, with a couple areas for improvement. The gyro omelet was great, but a little lacking in the amount of filling. Also, the cheese used in the Everything Omelet is something like Velveeta, which I didn't like. I would have preferred real cheese. The French toast is really something special, especially with their house cinnamon syrup!Overall, really really good service with a menu that will please everyone.

I had breakfast. And they were really skimpy on the meat in my supposed to be deluxe scramble. And it wasn't cheap actually expensive for what I got.

Sure, you will wait in line to get a table, and it's well worth the wait.The food is excellent, and the staff and service are everything you would expect, and more.I had the corn beef hash with eggs, sausage, and French toast. If there are any rats out by the dumpster, they will be disappointed with me, I didn't leave them a single scrap!

The Gyro sandwich I ordered for lunch was really yummy. Lots of flavor and filling. Other than that, the lunch menu isn't anything to write home about-stick with breakfast, I have never been disappointed! You walk in and seat yourself and are greeted quickly. At the end of the meal, you pay by walking up to the front dining counter by the register and they help you there. Reasonable prices and big portions will keep me always coming back!

Good food, dang good prices, small town feel. Server seemed to be having a bad day, but still provided good service. Get there earlier to find a seat, sometimes this place is packed. Really good portions. I'm a 6'1" guy who eats a lot and was filled up for less than 10 dollars!

Delicious food and even better customer service, specially towards young customers. We visited with our young kids and the server took the time to listen to their orders and serve them as requested. Thank you, we had a great breakfast experience.

Popular café with comfort breakfast items. Very affordable prices, huge servings. Impeccable service. Food is good. Coffee is acceptable but it's infinitely hot and bottomless so no complaints there. Just not a coffee-centered place. It's amazing how fast they're cooking in the kitchen and they're so busy. It was a worthwhile experience.

An excellent classic American breakfast cafe! The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu selection was a good variety of breakfast and lunch meals. My party all enjoyed our food, especially the plate sized pancakes!

The great kind of hole in the wall place my friend and I were looking for to eat brunch. I had excellent French toast with their homemade cinnamon syrup. It was a great price especially for an establishment so close to the thriving parts of Duluth. We even were inspired to watch this movie that has a scene right where we sat to eat!

Uncle Loui's is truly a hidden gem!!!!! The place was busy but the service was super fast and the food was exceptional!!! It was pretty cool to watch the guys cook all that food in such a tiny kitchen so quickly. The veggie pita was fabulous and everyone else said their breakfast was amazing. My dad was so happy they had thick bacon too ;)

Food was as expected, even though they didn't get our orders quite right (ordered one thing, got a slightly different thing, but that's not the end of the world). One big concern was the coffee - it had an off, almost metallic taste. Maybe it was just our batch, but it sat very poorly and made us feel a little unwell. It's probably time for them to invest in a newer batch brewer.

Best French toast I've had in a looong time. Bacon was thick-cut and cooked just right. Everything was delicious, and the coffee was good as well. I had their breakfast potatoes (yum) which are like American fries. Seriously the best breakfast I've had in quite a while. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning, but the line moved quickly and it was well worth the wait.
